An exciting opportunity to apply your Minuteman III (MMIII) weapon system expertise and strategic planning/thinking skills to supply chain risk management and solving complex supply related issues, such as parts obsolescence. You will be the chief weapon system advisor to the lead program manager, analyzing various supply data sources to identify issues, risks, and impacts to the MMIII weapon system. You will work with an experienced team of supply, obsolescence, and Supply Chain Risk Management experts, using state-of-the-art data and analysis tools to identify parts and vendor risks and develop mitigation strategies. Your role will be to provide vital insights from your expertise of the MMIII weapon system and logistics processes/resources to analytical efforts and products. You will coordinate supply-related analyses and related efforts with government MMIII Sustainment Integrated Product Teams (IPT) )including equipment specialists), Supply Chain and Requirements Office, as well as supply chain and maintenance organizations such as the Defense Logistics Agency and the 414th Supply Chain Management Squadron, missile wings, and repair depots.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or 10 years work experience
  • 10 years MMIII maintenance experience (in either missile mechanical or electro-mechanical, Maintenance Operations Control Center, Materiel Contol, or a combination of all)
  • Working knowledge of parts Deficiency Reporting, as well as Engineering and Maintenance Assistance Request processes
  • Working knowlege of the Air Foce Risk Managment process
  • Working knowledge of the IMDS and REMIS data systems.
  • Proficiency in MMIII Technical Data and Technical Orders
  • Proficiency in MS 365 suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excell, Outlook, and Teams, etc.)
  • Abilitiy to develop briefings and position papers, in addition to providing coherent and impactful presentations to stakeholders
  • Ability to work with, enspire, and coordinate efforts across crossfunctional teams

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $136000 - $231200

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
